Local Gang Hit by Series of Arrests

'Murder Dem Pussies' responsible for attack on 207 bus

Police believe they have smashed one of the area's most violent and dangerous gangs after a series of raids involving officers from three borough police forces.

So far 18 alleged members of the Murder Dem Pussies (MDP) gang have been arrested following an incident this September on a 207 bus in which a man was seriously assaulted.Over 30 male and female youths stormed onto the 207 bus and robbed passengers seriously assaulting one in the process. It is thought the attack was part of gang ritual.

All those arrested are aged between 14 and 18 years. 7 have now been released due to insufficient evidence but 11 have been bailed to reappear later this month. Those arrested include youths from the Ealing, Acton, Chiswick, Shepherd's Bush, White City and Southall areas.

The gang, which included a number of girls, had been at an all night party before they started being disruptive on the bus. When their unlucky victim boarded the bus he was subject to a ferocious assault to which the robbery was secondary.

MDP is believed to have been behind a series of robberies in the Ealing and Harrow area with buses in particular being a target. They used mobile phones to film many of their assaults which included the use of acid, imitation firearms and dangerous dogs.
