Around 60 firefighters were called to a serious blaze at a house converted into flats on Inglis Road, Ealing, in the early hours of Friday morning (19 December).
Eight fire engines attended the incident after London Fire Brigade’s control officers received reports of the fire at 12:27am. Crews from Acton, Ealing, Chiswick, Park Royal, Wembley and other nearby stations were sent to the scene.
Part of the second floor and around half of the roof of the detached property were damaged.
The Brigade confirmed that there were no reports of any injuries.
A 32-metre turntable ladder was used as a water tower to attack the flames from above, helping crews bring the fire under control in around ninety minutes.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
