Man Killed by Car After Pub Fight


Black Ford Mondeo found abandoned in Greystoke Park Terrace

A man has died after being hit by a car outside a Hanwell pub shortly after being involved in a fight on Friday 13th.

Police were called at 11.17pm to the White Hart pub, Greenford Avenue. On arrival they found a 48 year old man who was severely injured. It is believed he was involved in an altercation shortly prior to the incident. Unconfirmed reports say that the man was attacked and stabbed before being hit twice by a motor vehicle.

He was taken to New Ealing hospital but died shortly after.
Police believe they know his identity and next of kin have been informed however they await formal identification.

Police are particularly interested to hear from anyone who may have seen a silver Vauxhall Vectra near the pub just before the incident and also a black Ford Mondeo which was found abandoned shortly afterwards at Greystoke Park Terrace, W5.
