91 year old man dies after being hit by a bus
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Acton.
At around 18:55 on Monday 17th October a bus travelling north in Old Oak Common Lane, W3 was in collision with a pedestrian at the junction with Western Avenue.
The 91 yr old man was taken by ambulance to Charing Cross Hospital with head injuries. He died in the early hours of Monday 24th October.
He has been named as Roderick Waite, retired, of Primilla Street, W12.
The bus driver stopped at the scene and was interviewed by police.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton on 020 8998 5319.
