Borough one of the most stable in the capital
Ealing is one of the 10 most recession-resident London boroughs, according to latest research.
Estate agents Knight Frank placed Ealing seventh in a poll of the most stable London boroughs. The study was based on a range of factors including average house prices, employment growth and population growth.
Richmond-upon-Thames topped the list, followed by Kingston-Upon-Thames, Bromley, Kensington and Chelsea, Wandsworth, Southwark, Ealing, Lambeth, Greenwhich and Bexley.
The average house price in Ealing rose to £364,832 last year according to the estate agents - a 15.7% rise on the previous year.
