Train Death at West Ealing


London Paddington and Reading services affected

British Transport Police say a person died after being struck by a train at West Ealing rail station today (Wednesday 11 November).

The incident was reported to police at 1.12pm and was attended by BTP, Metropolitan Police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance.

A spokesman said:

''The incident is being treated as non-suspicious and, from first accounts, it appears to have been a tragic accident.''

The train involved was the 12.57pm Paddington to Oxford rail service. The railway line was handed back to Network Rail at 2.15pm.”
