Man Killed After Being Hit By Train at Ealing Broadway


British Transport police are investigating

A man in his thirties has been killed after jumping off a station platform into a non stop train at Ealing Broadway station on Sunday night.

The driver of the 10:37pm Paddington to Bristol service, reported seeing a man run from platform one and onto the track into the path of the train.

British Transport Police were called at 10:48pm on Sunday November 8 and the line was reopened after 98 minutes.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

This latest death follows that of 51-year-old teacher Eva Sanders of Orchard Gate, Greenford, last month.
