Ealing Broadway store is creating 30 new jobs
Poundland in the High Street, Ealing Broadway, will open tomorrow (Saturday 27th) but Corrie fans will be disappointed as there will be no Katherine Kelly (aka Becky Mcdonald) - originally scheduled to make an appearance.
The shop was due to start trading last week but the opening had to be cancelled due to 'unforeseen circumstances' - no further details have been made available.
Tomorrow there will be a 'check-out' challenge where shoppers will be given the chance to win £50 worth of Poundland vouchers and a DJ will be keeping the crowds entertained.
Poundland's Trading Director, David Coxon, said:
"We apologise for any inconvenience the delay may have caused, we promise Poundland will be worth the wait for local shoppers.''
