Guardians of the Galaxy Star Praises NHS Staff at the Ealing Project

One of the stars of the Hollywood blockbuster currently on general release, Guardians of the Galaxy III, made a personal appearance at the Ealing Project this week.
Will Poulter was there to show his support for the NHS staff in West London during Mental Health Awareness Week at a screening of the film to the delight of fans who had come to see it unaware he would be present.
Among those who met Will was Angela Caulder the Children and Young People Programme Delivery Manager at NHS North West London.
It was announced at the event on Monday 15 May that he was being appointed as an ambassador for Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind.
He also recently visited The Circle crisis cafe for children and young people, a service commissioned by West London NHS Trust. It is the first of its kind and provides an alternative environment to A&E admissions for children and young people. He described it as a ‘sacred space’ and said that ‘it really is saving lives’.
Will has been open about his own issues with mental health and praised the staff of West London NHS recording a video of thanks to them.
The film star who was born and educated in west London plays Adam Warlock in the new Marvel film.

Will has taken a big interest in the Circle Café and his support for young people’s mental health and wellbeing is invaluable. I have no doubt he will be an excellent ambassador for HFEH Mind."
