Seriously injured after incident believed to have involved Heathrow Express

Paramedics come to assistance of woman hit by train at West Ealing

A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a train in West Ealing station this Friday morning (14 October).

Reportedly she was on the track when she was hit by an eastbound Heathrow Express shortly before 11.30am.

All lines were closed as she was treated at the end of the platform by paramedics. The air ambulance also attended as did a large number of fire crews, local and transport police.

British Transport police (BTP) say the incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time.

Great Western Railway (GWR) said the incident is likely to create delays to services in and out of Paddington until around 3pm.
