For a few days this week, Shepherd's Bush has been transformed this week into a winter wonderland - and local people rushed to grab their cameras and capture the unusual scenes.

H&F Council's twitter account @lbhf was quick off the mark, tweeting this stunning shot of Wendell Park:

It was followed by a second, of Ravenscourt Park:
