Football is hugely   popular in Israel/Palestine but dogged by controversy around racism, segregation, lack of freedoms and inequality for Palestinians. The topic   recently made headlines during the world football governing body FIFA’s 2015   Congress.
The speakers will explore the history, background and politics behind the controversy as well as the issues around football as an arena for the global Boycott Divestment and Sanctions campaign in support of Palestinian human rights.
