Justice For Anton - March This Saturday

Seven years on, murder of Anton Hyman still unsolved

A march and conference will take place this Saturday to remember murdered Acton teenager Anton Hyman.

The Justice For Anton Hyman March starts at Ealing Hospital at 1pm and finishes at the Priory Centre in Acton at 3pm.

Anton's mother Vanessa Hyman has used the posters to appeal to anyone you may have information about the brutal unsolved murder of Anton, who was just 17 years old when he was found on Mother's Day, March 21st, 2004, floating face down in the River Brent in Hanwell. He had been shot, stabbed and beaten.

On the posters, Vanessa says 'I am hoping this march will refresh the memories of individuals, and encourage them to pass on any information, no matter how small to help solve the murder of my son Anton.

Following the march, a conference will be held attended by the local Safer Neighbourhood teams, youth forum and community leaders, hoping to highlight the issues of gangs, drugs and all factors that contribute to serious crime, solutions and working together to bring about a safer community.  All are welcome and there will be food on sale. All proceeds from the conference go towards Vanessa Hyman's new initiative to combat youth violence - A Mother's Teardrops.
