Ealing Jazz Festival 2005

24-31st July

Londoners are invited to come out and see Ealing swing during the 2005 JVC Ealing Jazz Festival which runs from 24-31 July 2005.

Now in its 21st year, the Jazz Festival is back for what promises to be one of the most exciting events of the summer.   And even better all performances are free.

Ealing Council Cabinet member for Leisure, Sport and Culture, Cllr Jasbir Anand said:

From jazz aficionados, to families wanting a great atmosphere, everyone is invited to come out and bask in the sunshine and let the jazz wash away the blues.

The highlight of this year's festival is the world premieres from the legendary Tony Kinsey, Jazz Umbrella and this year's guest programmers, F-ire Collective, all of which have been specially commissioned for the anniversary. The council gratefully acknowledges financial assistance from the PRS Foundation to fund the new commissions.

As well as JVC, the festival sponsors are Ealing Institute of Media,   Ealing Gazette, Westway Shopping Park, Fullers plc and Lloyds TSB.
