A new season, a packed new line up and don't miss the open day this Saturday
They're back and re-opening for the autumn this week, with Sundrive Players' production of PHILADELPHIA, HERE I COME! which opens on Thursday, followed by the annual OPEN DAY on Saturday.
Sundrive Players from Dublin have been visiting The Questors since 1976, and we keep inviting them back because we love their productions. This time they're performing the modern Irish classic PHILADELPHIA, HERE I COME! by Brian Friel so we're looking forward to another great evening of theatre.
Performances of this comedy are on Thursday 13 - Saturday 15 September and you can book online now at http://www.questors.org.uk
Meanwhile it's turning into a race against time upstairs in the Foyer according to
Ian Briggs from the theatre.
"We've had a major refurbishment programme happening over the summer, with teams of volunteers repainting all the Foyer walls and staircases, and smart new carpets being laid throughout," said Ian. "It's been a huge project. The old wooden benches have all been removed and the Refreshments Counter completely remodelled. As I speak, the carpeting is only a few feet from the foot of the stairs and the Playhouse doors are awaiting their final coats of paint."
