It's 3,000 and Rising !

Ealing's first half-marathon is attracting more entrants and more sponsors

Ealing restaurant TUK CHỢ is the latest brand to give its backing to the forthcoming Ealing Half Marathon - which now has more than 3,000 people signed up.

TUK CHỢ, which offers vibrant South East Asian market food in the heart of Ealing, is to be the official restaurant partner of the race on 30th September 2012.

To start the excitement, the TUK CHỢ tuk tuk, Britney, will lead the runners off the start line before returning to Lammas Park, where the restaurant will have a sampling marquee in the race ‘village’, alongside the event’s other partners Quit the Gym, Move Clinics, Bodyline Studios, Evian and vest partner Xempo.

So after competitors work up an appetite over the 13.1 miles, they will get the chance to try out Tuk Cho’s menu alongside the race spectators.

Race director Kelvin Walker said: “We’re delighted to get Tuk Cho on board to spice up the race for our competitors. It’ll help make a great atmosphere for what promises to be a fantastic day.”

The sponsorship deal will also see TUK CHỢ provide some of the course dressing and TUK CHỢ treats for the participant’s goody bags.

Over 3,000 people have now signed up for the race, which starts and ends in Lammas Park.
