Free Outdoor Theatre in Local Parks

A Midsummer Night’s Dream to be performed in Gunnersbury Park

A local group of professional actors; London Contemporary Theatre, bring you West London’s answer to the bright lights of the West End with outdoor theatre performances of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and ‘Treasure Island’.

Both performances have a modern twist designed to captivate audiences of all ages. Bring a picnic, blanket plus your friends and family to enjoy these free performances in your local park.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream takes place at Gunnersbury Park Museum Lawns on 14th August at 7.30pm.

Celebrate Shakespeare’s story of four lovers on the eve of a Royal Wedding. Chaos erupts as two opposite worlds collide, mistaken identity and love at first sight proves to be a reality for some but makes an ass of others.

Earlier in the day a performance of a new adaptation of Treasure Island takes place at Boston Manor House at 2pm.

Join in the adventure and sail the seven seas with Jim Hawkins and help this misfit crew to find Billy Bones’ treasure. With a subplot based on Goldoni’s ‘The Servant of Two Masters’.

This is part of London Contemporary Theatre's 5 hander repertory outdoor summer tour following last year’s tour of ‘Around The World In 80 Days’ & ‘As You Like It’.
