Summer Fete on Sat 17th June

Enjoy the summer weather with South Ealing Playgroup - indoor or out in their huge sheltered garden area.

Sherman Labour Hall, Dorset Road, South Ealing

Saturday 17th June 2006 from 1pm to 4pm.

They have a fantastic raffle this year, with prizes like a years membership for Kew Gardens, tickets for English National Opera and Buckingham Palace; a special football area for World Cup fanatics with a Spot the Ball Competition where they could win signed QPR shirts and footballs!  A very well-known puppeteer will be entertaining the children, plus there will be all the usual fete fun such as Bouncy Castle, face painting and refreshments. A great day out for the smaller ones.

 

If you can't get along but are interested in what the playgroup does, here's what they say.

"The South Ealing Playgroup provides excellent care and education for 2 to 4 year olds and has been based at the Sherman Labour Hall for over 40 years. It has consistently scored very highly in Ofsted inspections and is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. The Playgroup has qualified, dedicated staff and is run by an enthusiastic committee of parents.

The Playgroup has a large garden used year round full of fun toys, and inside the hall it has an array of stimulating activities catering for even the most discerning child! Each day children have a snack and a drink as part of the session.

It is funded by a small fee paid for each session attended, and by a series of fun filled fundraising events organized by the Playgroup parent's committee. Children who are 3 years and older can qualify for free funding from Ealing Council.

Children attend between 9.45am and 12pm during school term time. The Playgroup currently has a few places available for immediate start, and has a waiting list which can be joined at any time.
