Tickets for Ealing Comedy Festival and Ealing Summer Screenings presented by Nomad are now on sale via the summer festivals’ new dedicated website www.ealingsummerfestivals.com
The brand new website also features performer profiles, venue information, regular news updates and full festival line-ups.
Running over five hilarious nights (12 and 13, 17-19 July), Ealing Comedy Festival will feature the comedic genius of names including Lee Mack, Ed Byrne, Boy With Tape on his Face, as well as Kerry Godliman (Ricky Gervais’, Derek) and Andi Osho (Michael MacIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow). The festival celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and to the mark the occasion 20 comedians will feature at each of the two shows on the opening weekend.
On 14 and 15 July, Nomad will bring the magic of film to Walpole Park as Ealing Summer Screenings presented by Nomad makes its summer festivals debut.
There’s a film for the whole family with the matinée screening of 2003 film ‘School of Rock’ (PG), while the evening session will feature 1982 spoof documentary ‘This is Spinal Tap’ (15). A special edition of BFI’s ever-popular music video show, BUG, will be shown on the Monday with comedian Adam Buxton as the live host. 'Nomad presents Adam Buxton's Best of BUG' is a unique combination of inspiring music videos, as well as some incredible online discoveries and hilarious insights into the online community from recent BFI shows.
Both Ealing Comedy Festival and Ealing Summer Screenings presented by Nomad will take place in the big top tent in Walpole Park, Mattock Lane, Ealing W5 5EQ.
The comedy festival will open at 6.30pm each night, with shows running from 7.45-10.30pm. Tickets are £18.50 per person, per show (plus online or phone booking fee). The festival is suitable for people aged 18 and over, but young people aged 15-17 can attend if they are with an adult.
Tickets for Ealing Summer Screenings presented by Nomad are £12.50 for an adult or £12.50 for one adult and one child under 14, and £8.50 for a concession. Tickets to the BUG show (Monday evening) are £16.50. Gates will open at 2pm for the matinee session and the show will run from 3-5pm. Gates will open at 6.30pm for both evening sessions and the shows will run from 7.30-10pm.
