Blues Festival Coming This Way

Walpole Park is the venue

The UK’s largest dedicated blues event will take over the big top tent in Walpole Park on Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 July.

The opening night will see big name bands including Connie Lush, Tommy Allen & Johnny Hewitt and Big Boy Bloater & The Limits headlining bringing together a range of musical styles.

With the exceptional vocal talents of international sensations Earl Thomas and Kathleen Pearson of Kat & Co storming the stage on Sunday the final night is set to be larger than life.

Council leader, Councillor Julian Bell, said: “Awareness of Ealing’s affiliation with blues heritage grows more and more each year. The line up at the festival is fresh and showcases some excellent international talent. It’s a real treat to have such a large collection of blues artists performing in one of the borough’s most historic parks. The festival attracts thousands of visitors to the area and I can’t wait to welcome them back again this year.”

Doors open at 1.30pm on Saturday and Sunday and performances start at 2pm through until 10.30pm each day. Adults can pay £5 per day or £8 for both days, while kids aged 12 and under go free.
