All The Fun of The Festival

A community day out in Blondin Park

The sun shone down on Blondin Park for the 2014 Brentford Festival.

This popular event moved from its previous home in Boston Manor Park two years ago following a dispute with Hounslow Council.

Thousands turned out on Sunday (7th Sept) and enjoyed food, entertainment and a great community atmosphere.

Prayers were said for missing local teenager Alice Gross and posters handed out.

Hounslow council are keen to have the event back in Boston Manor park next year, but Northfields Councillors Mark Reen and David Millican said they would be more than happy for it to stay in Blondin. He said:

Cllr Millican said: '' Its been great that the Festival has been so popular and well attended.  Its a true community event.  I would certainly be very happy for it to be repeated in Blondin Park again next year''
