Blondin Park Welcomes Brentford

Festival held in new location proves popular

The Brentford Festival may have crossed the border into Ealing this year - but, despite clashing with the Mela in Gunnersbury Park, it still managed to attract thousands of people.

Blondin Park was the location for a very relaxed (and fortunately warm) afternoon with a great variety of stalls, the ever popular dog show,

as well as some talented musicians.

Many people commented that they didn't know Blondin was such a lovely park - some thought the stalls should have all been condensed into one site - as it was such a big location - but most thought it the perfect venue for such an event.

Local Northfields Councillor David Millican said:

"All the traders and local people I spoke with said how successful it was and how much they enjoyed it. Whilst it was the Brentford Festival, it actually was in Blondin Park, Northfields, Ealing."

Will it happen here again next year?

Hard working organiser, Linda Massey, was very happy with the venue but says she is keeping all options open.

Well done Linda and team!
