Try 150 types of beer and pub games, 15th-18th June
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) West Middlesex Branch is pleased to announce that the 16th "Beer on Broadway" also known as the "Ealing Beer Festival" will be back in the Ealing Town Hall in Ealing, London, W5 2BY in June 2005 with more BEERS (150+), more halls, more food, more space and more seating than ever before.
It will be hosting, for the first time, the SIBA South Eastern branch's Regional Beer Competition.
The event takes place in three separate halls within this fine old Victorian building. This enables us to have two smoke-free halls, one where all of the food is served with plenty of seating as well as Ciders & Perrys, draught & bottled foreign beers, & RAIBs and meads & fruit wines.
We will have pub games to keep visitors involved including pub skittles, roll out the barrel, nine men morris, and shut the box etc as well as a tombola stall.
Stalls will include CAMRA Products, CAMRA Membership, Smart-Tees, the SPBW, Spencer's Homebrew, Beer in Print, Pewter Scribe, Questors Theatre and VSO.
Open from 5:00 pm till 11:00 pm on Wednesday the 15th , 11:00 am till 11:00 pm on the Thursday the 16th & Friday the 17th and 11:00 am until 9:00 pm on the Saturday the 18th .
We will have a wide range of hot and cold foods including speciality beer sausages as well as a selection of vegetarian offerings from Bronek Korwin-Kamienski, the owner and talented Head Chef at Bronek's Delicatessen from nearby Northfields.
Help from CAMRA volunteers is welcomed between the 12th & the 19th of June 2005.
Admission is £2-50 including a souvenir programme with a reduction of £1-00 for CAMRA members. Commemorative festival glasses are on sale for £1-50, or may be hired for the day for a refundable deposit.
