Sarah Edwards is married and lives in Acton. She works at the national office of a charity which helps victims of crime.

As Sarah Buckmaster, she was a founder member of the Full Circle recycling co-operative and has been a coordinator for a Friends of the Earth group in London. Sarah Edwards said: There is so much we need to do to make our country a cleaner, healthier and safer place. The key national issues at the election include

* dealing with climate change;

* securing world peace; and

* improving public services

Locally one key priority is to stop the third runway at Heathrow. This would be devastating in terms of noise, air pollution and the destruction of homes. It would also contribute to global warming
