Do You Know This Man?

Police want to speak to following assault at Park Royal Station

British Transport Police (BTP) officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a member of staff was assaulted at Park Royal London Underground Station.

The incident happened on Friday, 17 October, just before 11.30pm.

A man entered the station a short time earlier and followed another passenger through the automatic barriers – without using a ticket. When challenged by a member of staff, he verbally abused him before physically assaulting him.

When officers arrived a thorough search of the area was conducted, but they could not find the offender.

The offender was last seen running onto the westbound Piccadilly Line platform.

PC Neil Lane said: “The man in the CCTV image could prove vital in our investigations. I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone who has any information. Did you see the incident? I’d like to hear from you. Please call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference TSUB/B7 of 28/10/14.”

Officers had earlier appealed to members of the public to come forward with information, but have since released the CCTV image.

Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111.
