Ealing Has Talent

Support a good cause and you could win £500

Last year’s inaugural Ealing Has Talent event saw a whole host of gifted individuals dazzle the judges and audience alike. However, it was Louise Benjamin, with a stunning rendition of Hallelujah, who emerged victorious.

Now Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre is once again putting out a call for local performers, be they singers, musicians, jugglers or lion tamers, to show what West Londoners are made of! Those hidden talents could not only win a £500 cash prize, but they could help support a great cause as well.

This autumn, West London’s favourite community shopping destination will once again be joining forces with Westside Radio, the Ealing Gazette and Karma nightclub to find the area’s most unsung talent.

There will be some fantastic prizes up for grabs, together with the chance to raise money for The Marie Curie Cancer Care.

This year’s acts will be invited to upload audition footage onto YouTube and send the link to ealinghastalent@joriwhitepr.co.uk, or post a video (DVD, tape etc.) of their performance to Studio 2, 12 Bourchier Street, London, W1D 4HZ.

It will be via this method that the judges will draw up their shortlist. Contestants should apply online at www.ealingbroadwayshopping.co.uk where they will also find full details of the audition process.

Deadline for entries will be 8th October 2010.

The acts shortlisted will then be invited to audition at the semi-finals on Saturday 16th October or Sunday 17th October at the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre.

The Grand Final will then take place at Karma nightclub on Saturday 6th November in front of a celebrity judging panel.
