Which Areas of the Council's Performance Do You Want Scrutinised?

Submit ideas by Friday 18th May

People are being encouraged to come forward with topics which they think councillors should discuss in the coming year.

At the end of this month councillors will agree the programme for scrutiny panels in 2012/13 and anyone who lives or works in the borough is being encouraged to submit ideas for topics by Friday 18 May 2012.

Scrutiny panels seek to improve services for the local community by examining decisions of the council’s cabinet and performance of council departments, as well as health bodies, contractors and external agencies that provide services within the borough.

Topics suggested must affect a group or community of people (not issues that only affect one person or household) and not have been considered by a scrutiny panel during the last 12 months.

Ideas for topics should be emailed to scrutiny@ealing.gov.uk or sent to Scrutiny, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 2HL.
