Time's Running Out For High School Applications

Get your forms in as soon as possible

The deadline for high school applications for September 2014 -which aren't completed online - is this Friday (25th October).

The cut-off date for all other applications, including online, is Thursday, 31 October. Any forms received after this date will be treated as late.

Last year, all those who applied before the deadline were offered a place at an Ealing school and more than 82% were offered a place at one of their top three schools.

The council say the easiest way to apply is via the www.eadmissions.org.uk website. Paper application forms are also available from either the Ealing primary school the child currently attends or by contacting Ealing’s admissions service.

Paper applications should be returned to your child’s primary school by Friday, 25 October unless they attend an independent primary school or an out-of-borough primary school, in which case they should be returned directly to the council’s admissions service or to customer services.

Councillor Jasbir Anand, cabinet member for children and young people said: “It’s not too late to ask our admissions service for advice on completing high school applications. We want to help parents to fill in the forms correctly and to make realistic choices right from the start.

“I strongly advise people to use all their six choices of schools on the form and to return their forms to us on time.”
