Paper applications to end in September
From September you will no longer be able to use a paper application to apply for a parking suspension.
Ealing Council has launched a new online application service which will allow customers to apply and and pay without having to submit paper forms.
The council say they will continue to accept paper applications until Monday, 14 September while the new system is introduced. After this date, all applications must be made online.
Parking suspensions allow residents living in controlled parking zones (CPZ) to reserve specific bays for a limited period of time, for instance for removals or building works. It costs £30 to suspend a CPZ bay or a pay and display bay for 24 hours.
Councillor Bassam Mahfouz, cabinet member for transport, environment and leisure, said: “We are modernising all of our parking procedures to make them more efficient and to give customers more control. Our online suspensions application and payment forms are the latest change and will significantly speed up the application process.”
