Council say they hope to reduce the number of cars on roads
Car owners in Ealing with more than one vehicle will be paying even more from today.
All new customers will have to pay a one-off registration fee of £15 on top of increased fees.
The new pricing structure has been introduced for new purchases or renewals only. Existing permits remain valid until their renewal date.
From Wednesday, 1 July the council will charge more for each additional permit registered to the same address.
The new pricing structure:

Councillor Bassam Mahfouz, cabinet member for transport, environment and leisure, said: “Controlled parking zones are introduced in areas that are already experiencing significant parking problems and when people register multiple vehicles to the same address it makes the situation worse by leaving less space for everyone.
“Many London boroughs are dealing with the same issue and have introduced similar pricing structures. I hope that it will reduce the number of cars on our roads and also discourage people from registering several work vehicles to the same address.”
