Oxjam want you to perform in Ealing
Oxjam are seeking artists/bands in and around the Ealing and surrounding West London area to be involved with a gig to help raise funds for Oxjam. The time,date and venue are yet to be confirmed but will surely be held in the Ealing area and will be around October 2010 and most likely to be on a Friday or Saturday night (not 23rd October). Please check your availability.
CONCEPT
The whole idea is to find bands/artists that are willing to do famous song covers but also to perform original songs that they've written. There will be at least 6 bands/artists involved who will be performing a mix of these songs. The genre of the music isn't essential but should be already playing in gigs and pubs already. New talent can be involved but would prefer someone who has a following already. There will be a mashup of 2 bands who will perform the cover song together so a constant rehearse and meet up of all the bands is necessary.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE THE 31ST AUGUST IF YOU CAN CONFIRM AND BE INVOLVED. CANCELLATIONS ISN'T AN OPTION AS ORGANISING AND PROMOTING WILL BE IN PROGRESS.
