New scheme from MindFood CIC

A local scheme that supports mental health recovery has
launched an innovative programme delivering fresh food to the door.

MindFood Community Interest Company offer people with a wide range of mental health issues the opportunity to sow, plant and grow a variety of fruit and veg.

Working from a farm in Amersham - in partnership with with M.A.R.E.S (Minorities Agricultural & Rural Equestrian Skills - they offer day therapy and skills training in agricultural, horticultural and equestrian activities for people who are experiencing difficulties, including those mental health issues or people who are excluded, disadvantaged or isolated.

They've just unveiled a new delivery programme called Good Mood food crop share scheme.

For an annual commitment of £25 a month you can help support the valuable work of MindFood CIC with the added bonus of getting a weekly bag of fresh vegetables delivered to your doorstep over the summer and autumn.

Boxes will start to be delivered from June this year.
