Ealing cyclists join mass rally
Fifty local cyclists rode into central London joining at least five thousand others in a mass rally to campaign for more space for cycling on London’s roads.
Ealing Cycling Campaign organised the ride into town to encourage local politicians to create a better environment for cycling in Ealing.
The Space for Cycling campaign is calling on every candidate in this year’s London borough council elections to improve the quality of life for all, by making local streets safe and inviting for everyone to cycle.
As of writing, over 25% of Ealing’s candidates have signed up to cycle improvements in their wards. Across London over 2000 candidates are supporting the campaign.
