Police appeal for witnesses after 'nasty' attack on 22-year-old

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault on Twyford Avenue in the early hours of Sunday morning (23 August).

A 22-year-old man walked into a nearby park after drinking with his friends and was assaulted at around 5am.

He was taken to a central London hospital and discharged two days later.

One of the suspects is described as a white man of medium build, 5ft 6ins tall. He was bald with facial stubble wearing a hooded top.

Detective Constable Hannah Rudd said: "This was a nasty offence on an early morning. The man was hit in the face a number of times and was in hospital for two days as a result. We are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to identify those responsible or who witnessed the assault."
