New councillors to be selected for South Acton, Northolt Mandeville and Hanger Hill

If you live in one of the three wards your polling station will be specified on your polling card

October 10, 2024

Polling stations opened at 7am this Thursday morning (10 October) for three by-elections in Ealing borough.

Residents of Hanger Hill, Northolt Mandeville and South Acton have the chance to select new councillors after the previous incumbents stood down having been elected as MPs in July’s general election.

Polling stations will close at 10pm after which votes will be counted at Greenford Hall with declarations expected soon after midnight assuming no recounts.

The polling station you should cast your vote at, including a map of how to get there, should be on your polling card. If you have misplaced it or did not receive one you can use the polling station finder to find your polling station.

You are reminded to bring photo ID to the polling station. To check if you are registered to vote you can contact Electoral Services by email elections@ealing.gov.uk or on 020 8825 7777.

To vote in this by-election you must be:

  • registered to vote within the ward
  • 18 or over on the day of the election (polling day)
  • a British, Irish, Commonwealth or EU citizen
