From Christmas Trees to Compost

Ealing Council's list of locations for tree recycling

Residents can recycle their real Christmas trees at most of the borough’s parks and open spaces this New Year.

The trees will be turned into compost and mixed with soil to help the borough bloom in the springtime. Simply take your tree to one of the following locations for composting throughout January.

Please remember to remove all decorations and pots, and leave your Christmas trees at the entrances to the sites. Trees should not be left out with the weekly garden waste collection. Residents can also replant real Christmas trees of compost them at home.

Residents can drop their trees off at the following locations:
Acton Green Common
Acton Park
Berkeley Fields (Berkeley Avenue)
Churchfields, Hanwell (car park)
