Ealing Riots - Police Re-release CCTV Images

Police are re-releasing CCTV images of two men and a new image of another man they would like to speak to in connection with the disorder in Ealing center in August 2011.

At approximately 23:00hrs on 8 August 2011 the supermarket The Ealing Green Local, The Green, Ealing was broken into and set on fire.

The premises were substantially damaged and four residential flats above were destroyed.

Nearby properties also suffered significant water damage as the fire brigade worked to bring the flames under control.

The first man is described as white, wearing a distinctive hooded top with the letters 'GSRD' across the front.

The second man is described as black, wearing a black jacket with a grey hooded top underneath.

The third man is described as white, wearing a grey tracksuit and carrying a very large black shoulder bag.

Detective Sergeant Ewan Robertson, who is leading the investigation, said: "This mindless act has ruined people's livelihoods and homes, but it could easily have resulted in the loss of their lives. I would ask anyone who recognises the men in these CCTV images to speak to police."
