Café Rouge in Ealing Up For Sale


Restaurant on The Green on the market for 50,000

The Ealing branch of Café Rouge is up for sale.

Tragus, the group which operates high street restaurant chains Café Rouge, Strada and Bella Italia, has placed 12 restaurants on the market.

Ealier this year the company reported a poor Christmas performance across its restaurant estate with like-for-like sales down 3 per cent.

Property agent Fleurets is now actively marketing the sites which can be bought as one group, singularly or in small packages.

The restaurants listed have been identified for disposal they are said to be no longer considered suitable for the respective brands.

A statement on the Fleurets website said: "These restaurants would suit a variety of corporate or independent operators. TUPE does apply and details of employees will be provided to interested parties upon acceptance of a provisional offer."

Ealing's 70 cover restaurant is described as in a prominent situation - near to Carlucchio's and Cote, which is a character trade area (The Green) and is said to have quality fixtures and fittings.
