Free Swimming Still Floating All Summer

Council keeps scheme going for youngsters and over 60's

Ealing youngsters, and those over 60, will be able to continue to swim for free during the summer, even though the Government will stop funding the national ‘Swim Free’ programme from 31 July.

The scheme runs at four pools in the borough: Acton Swimming Baths, Dormers Wells Leisure Centre, Gurnell Leisure Centre and Northolt Leisure Centre.

Ealing Council is keeping the popular scheme going until the end of the school holidays on 5 September.  After this date, swimming will still be available at discounted rates to eligible groups through the purchase of a Leisure Pass.
