Icy conditions have caused problems on residential roads
Ealing Council has apologised for delays in collecting rubbish and recycling from some roads in the borough this week.
A spokesperson said: "Refuse and recycling collections are taking place on normal scheduled collection days this week. We are doing our best to catch up with any collections we have missed due to the weather conditions.
''Residents should leave their refuse and recycling in the usual place for collection but please be aware that there are still some roads that are inaccessible to collection vehicles.
''We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.''
