Rubbish Reminder - Easter Refuse and Recycling Collections |
Council reminds residents that collections are a day later over Easter Ealing Council is reminding residents that refuse and recycling collections will take place a day later than usual following the Easter holidays. Collection changes will affect household refuse, green box, food waste and garden waste services. Collection days are as follows:
The Council adds this information: Refuse should be left at the front of the property, not on the pavement, by 7.00am and recycling by 7.30am on the allocated collection day. Residents are reminded that cardboard Easter egg boxes and aluminium foil can be recycled using the household green box recycling service. The council’s re-use and recycling centres will be open over the Easter break, including Good Friday and Easter Monday. These are at Stirling Road, Acton, Gordon Road, Southall and Greenford Road, Greenford. Residents can check their collection dates or obtain more information about refuse and recycling services by visiting www.ealing.gov.uk or calling the council’s customer contact centre on 020 8825 6000.
