Series of Residential Burglaries

New information leads to appeal for help

Police in Hounslow are releasing an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a number of burglaries.

Between September and November 2010, officers investigated a number of residential burglaries in Hounslow.

Earlier this month, officers from Hounslow CID re-opened a number of these burglary cases following new evidence.

It is now believed that at least five of these burglaries may have been committed by the same person.

Suman Shrestha

Officers are now keen to speak with 26-year-old Suman Shrestha (pictured) who is of no fixed abode but has links to the Hounslow and Ealing areas.

Detective Constable Andy Treadaway, from Hounslow CID, said: "I am certain someone will know where Shrestha is and would appeal to them to come forward and contact the police.

"Burglary has a huge emotional and long-lasting impact on the victims and what this case demonstrates is that the police never give up on victims of crime. We will re-open investigations when new evidence comes to light."

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Shrestha is urged to contact Detective Constable Andy Treadaway on 020 8246 1503 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
