Do You Know This Man?

Police want to question following reports of indecent behaviour on tube

Police have released an image of a man they want to question in connection with incidents of indecent behaviour on the tube.

The appeal comes after an incident on a Central line Tube train travelling between North Acton and Northolt at around 9.20pm on Thursday, 4 June.

PC Suleman Yazdani said: “A woman on the train reported a man who had sat near her and stared at her while touching himself inappropriately before leaving the train at Notholt.

“We believe the same man is responsible for an incident of indecent exposure on a Metropolitan line train travelling between Harrow on the Hill and North Harrow on Saturday, 21 March at 9.20pm.

“In this incident, the man sat opposite two women and began to touch himself innapropriately before exposing himself to the women.”

Officers have conducted enquiries at stations and viewed CCTV of the incidents.

Today they are issuing an image of a man who they think can help with their enquiries.

PC Yazdani said: “We work hard with our partners at TfL to ensure the Tube remains a safe place, and that those who use it can do so without the fear of unwanted sexual behaviour.

“I think the man in the image we are issuing today has information about these incidents. Please tell us who he is.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference T-SUB/B9 of 9/11/15. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
