Fourteen year old Morgan McKay, a pupil at St Benedict’s School, has won the Harrods Charity Tote Competition and a £200 Harrods gift card.

Pupils from the Ealing school were invited to submit designs for a canvas charity bag which will go on sale in the Autumn.

The competition was open to all ages and the design had to be an illustration, incorporating a woman carrying a bag and walking a dog, together with the slogan ‘I love Harrods.’

Morgan' design featured the skyline of London as an apt background and her choice of dog was a Shih Tzu. She decided that the best place for the caption ‘I love Harrods’ was on the bag itself. See her full design on the Harrods bags this Autumn.

It was chosen from hundreds of others to be printed on this season’s Autumn/Winter Harrods charity bag.

It must be the dream of any budding artist to have their design featured on a leading brand’s merchandise, and they don’t come much bigger than Harrods.

That dream has now come true for Morgan, who hopes to follow her parents into an art based career.

£10 from the purchase of every bag will be donated to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
