Have a Fun Fundraising Golf Day

With Ealing and Brentford Consolidated Charity

Ealing and Brentford Consolidated Charity is hosting a Fundraising Golf Day at the premier 18-hole Wyke Green Golf Club, Syon Lane, Osterley, Isleworth, TW7 5PT on October 1st to boost the“Grassroots” fund.

Both Ealing & Brentford Consolidated Charity, and the Grassroots Fund, which EBCC manages in Ealing on behalf of the Government Office of the Third Sector, are completely unique in the local area.

All funds raised are doubled by the Government. The Grassroots Fund has recently increased its profile as we are a partner of the Evening Standard’s £1M Grassroots Dispossessed Appeal, which it is running now.

EBCC is a charity, local to Ealing and Brentford, which was established in the nineteenth century for the purpose of helping people of limited means. It does this in four ways:

Ø runs sheltered housing, or almshouses

Ø gives grants to smaller charities and local voluntary groups

Ø runs allotments

Ø establishing social enterprises

So come and join the fun, enjoy a round of golf and support a good local cause.

The cost to participate is £85 per person and will include breakfast; two course lunch; tea and coffee. You may want to organise a team of four, or join a team on the day.

Timetable
Registration and Breakfast 7.30am
Golf 8.30am-1pm
Lunch 2-3.30pm, during which there will be a raffle of sports/golf related items

Prize giving

There are also places available for those who would like to come along during the morning to watch and to have lunch (tea/coffee will be included during the morning). The cost of these tickets will be £30.

Additionally, we would welcome company sponsorship. Sponsor a hole; a hole in one; or even sponsor the whole event.

Whether you decide to try your golf swing or come as a spectator or sponsor a hole, it promises to be a really enjoyable day.

If EBCC sell all the tickets (and we are well on the way!), we will raise £2,550 on the day. All funds raised will be doubled through the central government match funding by the Grassroots scheme. Over £5,000 will be a substantial boost for our local grant giving programme.

Bookings to be confirmed by Friday 27 August.
