Wondering What to do With The Kids?

The long Easter holiday needn't mean boredom

Local sports and leisure centres have a packed programme of sports and crafts designed to teach youngsters aged 4 – 16 new skills and keep them on the move during the school holidays from 11- 21 April.

Elthorne Sports Centre, Greenford Sports Centre, Twyford Sports Centre, Northolt High, Northolt Leisure Centre, Southall Sports Centre and Dormers Wells Leisure Centre will be running their popular multi sports weeks.

Children will have the chance to try lots of different sporting activities including tennis, dodgeball, football, street dance, basketball, as well as arts and crafts.

Each centre will be running their own programme and are catering for different age ranges. Northolt Leisure Centre, Dormers Wells Leisure Centre, Acton Baths and Gurnell Leisure Centre will be holding a range of crash courses in swimming.

Councillor Kamaljit Dhindsa, cabinet member for Customer and Community Services said, “These popular courses are a great way to make new friends and learn some new skills. We are helping working parents by keeping the prices competitive and by offering a range of days and times to suit individual circumstances.“
