Information sought on Boston Manor Road assault

Victim cut by invisible cord

Police are seeking information on an assault that took place on Sunday 30th July 2006 at 2045 in Boston Manor Road, Brentford. The victim was a 16 year old male student.

It was almost dark and the victim noticed something skim his head as he was walking along the pavement. He grabbed hold of a purple thread, which was stretched across the whole road and path. As he did so, someone pulled the thread taut and it slipped from his grasp and into his face where it caused a long narrow cut. This could obviously have caused a much more serious injury as, owing to the time of day, was almost impossible to see. Medical aid was not required.
