Did you see motorcycle gunmen at South Ealing Shell garage?
Ealing Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at the Shell Petrol Garage in Ealing Road, W5 on Monday 20/3/06.
At around 12.45 in the afternoon, two men on a motorcycle approached a cash-in-transit guard and the rear passenger produced a handgun, pointed it at the guard and demanded the cash box.
The guard, a man aged in his 30's, dropped the cash box, which was picked up by the suspects before they drove away south on South Ealing Road. The guard was shocked but sustained no injuries in the attack.
Suspect one - the gunman - is described as a man, wearing black clothing and a black crash helmet. Suspect two - the driver - is described as a man wearing a light coloured crash helmet.
The motorcycle used in the robbery is described as a blue and white BMW R1150GS, registration number LD02 PWV. Detectives are very keen to trace the whereabouts of the motorcycle between the time it was stolen and when the robbery occurred.
