New Year - New You!

Council offer free vouchers for local sports and leisure centres

Ealing Council is helping residents re-energize after the festive period by giving away free 'kick-start' fitness packs as part of  its 'New Year - New You' campaign.

The fitness packs contain more than £200 worth of fitness vouchers for local sports and leisure centres and provide hints and tips on how to get active.

Residents can get the free packs by printing and completing the application form (word) and taking it to one of six sports and leisure venues in the borough.

Application forms are also available in the council's  community magazine, 'Around Ealing', and can also be picked up at the council's sport and leisure centres.

Councillor Jasbir Anand, cabinet member for leisure, sport and culture, said: "We want to help our residents keep their New Year's resolutions by getting on track to a healthier, active lifestyle.

"Regular physical activity not only provides many personal benefits, but can also contribute to a positive and vibrant community."

Ealing Council offers a range of sports and leisure activities from archery to yoga. With something for everyone, including activities for people with disabilities, older adults and women-only gyms, there are many options for the whole family to enjoy.
