Help lines give advice on grants and saving energy
A campaign promoting warmer, better-insulated homes is being backed by Ealing Council for the second year running.
The Warm Homes Campaign is a national campaign that aims to cut the number of excess winter deaths and reduce cold-related illnesses by raising awareness of the help available to people who cannot afford to heat their homes in winter.
Councillor Brian Castle, cabinet member for regeneration and economic development, said:
“During the campaign, I encourage anyone in Ealing who may have trouble keeping warm this winter, or if you’re a carer or neighbour of someone in this situation, to call the two helplines that are available for advice.”
